Being assertive is a must skill for every employee. Whether someone is starting their career or playing people leadership role, being assertive is must. It helps the person draw healthy boundaries to protect their time, energy and overall effectiveness. Yet most employees struggle to say “No”. Those who say “No” do it with guilt which further hampers their confidence and competence to perform at optimal level.

When employees communicate assertively, it helps them in many ways. It reduces the feeling on anxiety and stress; they are more confident and effective in their work and more importantly it helps them build great relationships at workplace.
